Les vignobles de Seyssuel

“We are here in the birthplace of Syrah, a noble and powerful grape variety, with a strong character. Along with what nature provides, only the knowledge and patience of the winemaker can give an optimal result.”

The magnificent Seyssuel hills have inspired the wish to make a truly great wine, and only recently a few winemakers, understanding the exceptional value of the terroir, decided to unite their skills to bring the vineyard back to life. Louis Chèze, Laurent and Pascal Marthouret, Georges Treynard, all born winemakers who are devoted to the land, decided to join forces with skill and passion, and carry out this project within a single structure: “Les Vignobles de Seyssuel” (“The Seyssuel Vineyards”). This association of four talents has continued and a number of wines are currently being produced on the hills at the heart of the Seyssuel Vineyards: Sixtus Blanc, Sixtus Rouge and Saxeolum.
